A "User" in WISP Builder is an individual who has been granted login access to the WISP Builder tool. Once logged in, users are provided with specific permissions that allow them to view and edit content within the platform. These rights ensure that users can effectively manage and contribute to the content, maintaining the integrity and functionality of the WISP Builder environment.
All team members that are designated for WISP Roles (Owner/Principal Operating Officer), Data Security Coordinator (DSC) and Public Information Officer (PIO) must be set up as a user.
Both the Data Security Coordinator (DSC) and the Owner/Principal Operating Officer (PCO) must review and sign the WISP before it can be activated. Only individuals with a manager-level or higher permission level are eligible to hold these roles and authorize the activation of the WISP.
To set up a "User", navigate to the User Management tab under settings.
Once your users are set up in the app, you can then choose them for each signing role when building the WISP.
Please note that in the event of an information security incident, the WISP defines responsibilities for the Data Security Coordinator (DSC) and Public Information Officer (PIO) that may need to be fulfilled concurrently. For that reason, if possible, it is recommended that the DSC and PIO not be the same person. If you are a sole proprietor, you may list yourself for all 3 roles.
